I do not often write reviews. However, after working with Greg Rankin to find a vacation home in Lake Tahoe, I felt compelled to do so. After years of renting in the area, my wife, son and I decided to take a look at property throughout the Tahoe Basin. Fortunately, we found Greg, by researching the internet. Immediately, what struck us was how attentive and personable he was. We asked every question imaginable, and Greg patiently answered all of them. We also had no idea on which area to focus, so Greg literally took us around the entire lake, South Lake Tahoe, the East Shore, Incline Village, the North and West Shore areas, and even up to Truckee – for three solid days. This adventure was even sandwiched around a snowstorm!
Greg’s experience and expertise as a realtor was comforting, indeed. He left no area unexplored, and no question unanswered. Moreover, after our time with Greg, we felt that we formed a lifelong bond. We loved his personal stories about his family, and life as a long time Tahoe City resident.
We have had the opportunity to work with several realtors over the years. We have bought, and we have sold property. Each time, prior to meeting Greg, those experiences were nothing more than transactional, and frankly, a little cold. With Greg, the experience was relational and personal. It was informative, fun, and comforting. We found a lovely vacation home on the West Shore and now visit more frequently than ever. We could not be happier with our purchase, nor with our entire experience. Moreover, I can genuinely say, in Greg Rankin, we also found a true friend.
