Tahoe Paradise, Meyers, and Christmas Valley

Meyers is located off Highway 50 and is only 5 minutes from the area known as the “Y” which is the intersection of Hwy 50, Emerald Bay Hwy (89) and Lake Tahoe Blvd. The Tahoe Paradise neighborhood is located toward the west end of Pioneer Trail where it joins Hwy 50 near Meyers.  From there, it is only another 5 – 10 minutes from shopping, dining, skiing and Lake Tahoe beaches.

The Christmas Valley is just south of Meyers and is bordered by tall mountains, Echo Summit and Luther Pass and the Upper Truckee River runs through the heart of the valley. Christmas Valley runs along South Upper Truckee Road running from Highway 50 to the base of Luther Pass and on the other side of the river the neighborhoods are concentrated around Blitzen Road, Santa Claus and Elf Roads with many homes backing to the river or the open meadow and woodsy forest.

These neighborhoods are quiet family-style communities with lots of outdoor recreation activities available year round such as the Tahoe Paradise Golf Course and the Lake Tahoe Golf Course, which is popular in winter as well for cross-country skiing,  alpine skiing is minutes away to Kirkwood and Sierra At Tahoe, the Upper Truckee River is at your doorstep for fishing,  beautiful mountain forest for hiking and biking including one of South Lake Tahoe’s most popular mountain bike trails is Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride which begins in the Tahoe Paradise neighborhood.
