Tahoe Park and Sunnyside

Located on Lake Tahoe’s West Shore just a mile south of Tahoe City, this charming little neighborhood of Tahoe Park and Sunnyside is paradise in the mountains to many. 

These two unique neighborhoods are characterized by small Old Tahoe Cabins and Single-Family homes. A level, easy-access area with cabins and homes in somewhat proximity to each other. Most are fifty-foot lots in woodsy areas. Popular for its gated Tahoe Park Association Beach with a beach, two piers, playground, picnic area, and recreational opportunities such as bocce ball, volley ball, and basket ball courts. 

Sunnyside and Tahoe Park neighborhoods are accessed on Lake Tahoe’s Westshore from highway 89 from either Tahoe City to the north or South Lake Tahoe to the south.   Sunnyside has two popular restaurants with locals; the Sunnyside Restaurant and Lodge know for its fine dinning, lunch on the deck overlooking the water, and fish taco night in winter, and the Fire Sign Café, the best breakfast spot on the Lake!  

This part of the lake offers the best sunrise vantage points of any at Lake Tahoe as well as lots of water access for sailing, wave runners, water skiing, kayaking and paddle boarding, hiking and mountain biking, and snowmobiling.  As well as access to Homewood and Alpine Meadows ski resorts and the best back-country skiing the Lake has to offer.
